We receive your booking details (name, dates, and contact info) when you book through our partner platforms:

• Airbnb

• Booking.com

• Vrbo

3. How We Use Your Data (Legal Basis)

Under the GDPR, we only process your data when we have a legal basis:

• Contractual Necessity: To manage your reservation and provide accommodation.

• Legal Obligation: To report guest stays to the Greek Tax Authorities (AADE) and local police.

• Legitimate Interest: To communicate with you regarding your stay and improve our services.

• Consent: If you opt-in to receive marketing (which you can withdraw at any time).

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your data. We only share it with:

• Payment Processors: Stripe handles all credit card transactions. We do not store your full card details.

• Booking Platforms: We sync data with Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo to manage availability.

• Government Authorities: As required by Greek law for tax and safety reporting.

• Service Providers: Maintenance or cleaning staff (only name and stay dates if necessary).

5. International Data Transfers

When you pay via Stripe or book via Airbnb/Vrbo, your data may be transferred to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), primarily the USA. We ensure these providers use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to protect your data to EU standards.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary:

• Tax Records: Kept for up to 10 years as per Greek tax legislation.

• General Correspondence: Kept for 2 years after your stay.
